Too old for New Yorker title page

After positive encouragement and two meetings in New York, cartoon editor Bob Mankoff  told me I was too old to be a cartoonist at The New Yorker  He wanted to build a team that would deliver decades of cartoons.

I was disappointed, of course. But looking for younger talents makes sense, I could see Mankoff’s logic.

Here are the cartoons I presented. I do hope you’ll enjoy them. Feel free to share them if you wish.
